Pawtucket Power Associates, Rhode IslandIn 2005, MAXIM acquired a 64.6 MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle plant with a single GE Frame 6B gas turbine in Pawtucket, RI. The power output and steam generation from the plant is not currently contracted but the facility receives forward capacity payments and energy payments from ISO New England. The Pawtucket facility began commercial operation in 1991 and MAXIM has contracted PurEnergy LLC to operate the plant.
